Jabreen Castle was built in the late 17th century and is situated in Bahla, Oman. It was constructed by Imam Bil Arab and was designed to resemble the most beautiful castle of that period. The castle is a large rectangular building that contains five floors and 55 rooms. A Falaj runs through the middle of the castle and the ceilings are decorated with paintings and Islamic-style inscriptions. All the architectural details make Jabreen Castle a genuine expression of Omani craftsmanship.
