Hopper Tour
The Hopper is quick yet breathtaking, making this the perfect tour if you’re short on time. Taking off from the V&A Waterfront, you’ll be awestruck by the Atlantic ocean stretching out to the horizon, and possible sightings of whales and dolphins below.
Further on, you’ll pass over Green Point Stadium – built for the 2010 FIFA Soccer World Cup – before seeing a bird’s-eye view of Robben Island on your right, and Table Mountain on your left.
Hugging the Atlantic coast, you’ll marvel at the Cape Town City Bowl, the Peninsula’s white beaches, and the Twelve Apostles mountain range. Then you’ll get to do it all again, heading back to the V&A Waterfront.
Atlantico Tour
If you’re dreaming of admiring Cape Town’s vast ocean vistas, the Atlantico is an idyllic treat. Upon departing from NAC Helicopters’ base at the V&A Waterfront, you’ll soar over Cape Town’s scenic City Bowl, and out over the Atlantic Ocean.
To your right, you’ll see breathtaking blue-green water stretching past the horizon, interrupted only by the occasional whale or dolphin. To your left, the majestic Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles mountain range stand proudly, rolling down into the sandy white beaches and seaside suburbs of Clifton and Camps Bay – and further afield, Llandudno.
You’ll see Seal Island on your right, before crossing into Hout Bay and Chapman’s Peak’s unspoiled cove. Then you’ll get to experience it all again, as you journey back along the Peninsula to the V&A Waterfront.
Three Bays Tour
You will truly uncover Cape Town’s multi-faceted character on the Three Bays Tour. Starting at the V&A Waterfront, this tour takes you over the pristine outer Cape Peninsula, then along Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles mountain range.
You’ll see the Atlantic Seaboard’s unspoiled white beaches unfold in front of your eyes as you fly along coastal Clifton, Camps Bay and Llandudno and, if you’re lucky, whales may welcome you en-route to Hout Bay’s lush greenery and aquamarine waters.
Then, your flight will head inland, over Cape Town’s southern suburbs before the glistening False Bay appears on the other edge of the Peninsula. Here you will get a chance to view Fish Hoek and Muizenberg from above. On the equally spectacular return flight along the Southern Seaboard, you’ll get to take in the sky-high view of Cape Town’s bustling City Bowl before landing back at NAC Helicopters at the V&A Waterfront.
Cape Point
The Cape Point tour is a smorgasbord of visual feasting that offers the entire Cape Peninsula. From the bustling V&A Waterfront, you will take off over the icy blue waters of the Atlantic.
On your left, Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles mountain range will rise against the shoreline, with Clifton and Camps Bay below. You’ll soar over Hout Bay, Noordhoek and Kommetjie, and around Cape Point.
Returning along False Bay, you’ll see historic Simon’s Town, Fish Hoek and Muizenberg, the fine wine estates of Constantia and the cosmopolitan patchworks of Cape Town’s CBD, before landing back at the V&A Waterfront.
Robben Island Tour
Taking off from the V&A Waterfront, you’ll hover over the harbour for a moment, drinking in Green Point and the Cape Town cityscape. Below you, the deep blues and greens of the Atlantic Ocean stretch to the horizon, interrupted only by the white crest of a wave or the occasional pod of dolphins. As you move further away from the Cape Peninsula, Robben Island comes into view in front of you.
You dip towards the island, sweeping over its diverse collection of fauna and flora as you enjoy an aerial view of the buildings and importantly, the prison where Nelson Mandela and other freedom fighters were imprisoned, before you turn to face the Cape Peninsula again. On your return flight, you’ll be greeted by the full splendour of Table Mountain as you travel along the pristine Blouberg coastline back towards the City Bowl.
Helicopter Transfer to Stellenbosch
Stellenbosch is littered with Cape Dutch history – from its name, referring to early settler Simon van der Stel, to the awe-inspiring Cape Dutch houses and centuries-old wine farms it is so well-known for. More than 150 wine estates in the region produce spectacular red and white wines, and the region consistently boasts excellent vintages of South Africa’s own unique wine varietal, Pinotage – a cross between Pinot Noir and Hermitage. A visit to the Stellenbosch wine route is a Cape Town bucket list experience.
Helicopter transfer to Franschhoek
Established by French settlers in the 17th century, there are a myriad of places to visit and things to do in Franschhoek (literally “French Corner”). Boasting a multitude of attractions, Franschhoek is home to some of the best wine farms in South Africa, offers stunning views from the Franschhoek pass, and a look into automotive history at the Franschhoek Motor Museum.
Helicopter transfer to Constantia
Only a 7-minute helicopter ride from Cape Town, Constantia is one of the most respected and historic wine producing regions in the Southern Hemisphere. Home to South Africa’s oldest wine producing farm, Groot Constantia, the Constantia wine region boasts nine historic farms that all offer spectacular wines, world-class dining and family activities.
Helicopter Flip, Wine Tasting and Cape Side Car

Upon landing, you will be welcomed with a glass of one of Groot Constantia’s famous wines.
You will then embark on a tour of the traditional Cape Dutch-style Manor House, the historic Cloete Cellar, the working production cellar and then enjoy an audio-guided walk through the centuries-old vineyards.
