Casa Babi is an intimate eco-chic Boutique Guest House, overlooking the beautiful bay of the Bazaruto Archipelago. With only 4 rooms and a family cottage, personalised service and individual attention to the guests are what make Casa Babi special. Sabrina & Denis, the owners, are always happy to share their stories with their guests around a glass of wine before dinner.
Located in the heart of the fishing village, Casa Babi is a few steps away from a lively beach where one can admire the everyday life go by, rhythmed by the Dhows going and coming back with their catch.
The sea-view bedrooms benefit from a private veranda that opens on incredible views of the beach and never ending blue-sea and white sand. They are comfortable and spacious, decorated with organic elements and with a special attention to details.
Casa Babi has an in-house restaurant that offers a fresh and creative cuisine tainted with Mediterranean and Mozambican flavours. It can easily adapt to all dietary requirements and the chefs are always happy to prepare delicious meals for vegetarians, vegan, gluten free or dairy free guests.
As much as possible, only local produce are used in the kitchen as well as produce from the vegetable garden.
Breakfast is a pure treat with home made bread and jams, french crèpes, home made muesli. Cooked breakfast in included as well.
Dinner consists of a 3 courses meal and needs to be pre-ordered before 3pm.
Casa Babi is very committed towards environmental conservation and is implementing a strict Reduce-Reuse-Recycle policy.
Plastic use is avoided as much as possible : no single use plastic containers in the bathrooms, no plastic bags, drinking water available in glass bottles, no cling film but bee-waxed fabric used etc.
Toiletries available in the bathrooms are all organic.
No A/C but rooms designed to benefit from the natural breeze and very powerful but silent fans for the hottest summer nights.
Refuses are separated and recycled.
Adjacent to Casa Babi is the activity centre - Odyssea Dive -, where the most active will be able to use SUP and kayaks for free or book a dive or a kite-surf lesson.
