Guided Walks
A range of walks is available from 1 hour to 8 hour day-hikes. Always led by expert local guides, these an focus on flora and fauna, local culture or just plain exercise. The lodge guides welcome guests to join them to explore the rich area around the lodge - rolling farm land and forest rich in birds, butterflies and traditional lifestyles. Picnic meals are available and guides are happy to carry extra water flasks too.
Nepali Cookery Demonstration
Lalu, the Head Cook, is happy to invite guests to join the kitchen team to learn how to prepare classic Nepali foods. This is subject to the kitchen workload at any time.
Wellness Therapies
The lodge has local masseurs and masseuses for a range of Ayurvedic or Shiatsu massage in the comfort of guests' own rooms.
Yoga sessions with a local guru are available for beginners and more advanced alike.
Meditation guides are available.
Sightseeing and Other Activities
The Lodge staff can arrange guided sightseeing tours, helicopter charters, mountain flights, vehicle drives, golf, white-water rafting, paragliding, zip-line and other activities both n house and through third party suppliers.
Nature Walk
Led by an expert local guide, explore the surrounding area from the lodge to gain an insight into the bio-diversity of the forest and farmland. With an emphasis on birds and butterflies as well as local flora, this provides an opportunity to see Nepal's only indigenous bird species, The Spiny Babbler (Turdoides nipalensis) among others.
