Having been woken this morning by one pack of wild dogs (4) running through camp we went out on game drive hoping to find them again but after no luck searching we changed direction to look in a different area. As luck would have it, we instead found another pack (14) feeding on their reedbuck kill. No sooner had we though they might settle down than they were off again and killed another reedbuck right in front of the vehicle. A special morning with this Endangered carnivore thought to number fewer than 1 500 mature invididuals across the whole African continent (IUCN Red List assessment, 2020).
